Chesco Offers Vets New ID Cards And Tape Recordings Of Service

Chesco Record Of Deeds provides backup documents for local veterans and other help services. Refreshments will be provided.

EAST BRADFORD TWP —The Chester County Record of Deeds office is offering veterans a recording of military discharge documents, new IDs and discout cards for businesses.

Veterans do not have to be a resident of the township to participate.

The event is 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 18, East Bradford Township Building, 666 Copeland School Road.

The card and recording will come in handy if documents are lost or destroyed. Veterans and their families can easily replace lost copies.

  • VA Medical Center of Coatesville
  • Chester County Veterans' Affairs Dept
  • Veterans Multi-Service Center (Coatesville)
  • Representatives from Congresswoman Chrissy Houlahan’s office

A continental breakfast with coffee & tea service will be provided, sponsored by First Resource Bank.

Veterans are required to provide DD-214 (original or photocopy) or other military discharge document(s) and a current Photo ID (i.e. driver's license, state-issued ID, U.S. Passport).

The event is free of charge.
